Jamie Lynn Spears has hit back at trolls, who have threatened her with death threats after feeling that she did not speak out earlier, in response to her sister Britney Spears’ maltreatment at the hands of their father Jamie Spears.

Britney and her father had been engaged in a long-term conservatorship battle to see who would have control over the singer’s estate. But with the judge having ruled in favour of the father, it has left Britney wondering where she should go from here.
While Jamie did express her support for her sister, fans felt that it was a case of too little too late. This forced Jamie to hit back at the haters, who wished her death. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jamie said: “Hi, I respect that everyone has the right to express themselves, but can we please stop with the death threats, especially the death threats to children. JLS.”
Despite the vitriol coming her way, Jamie has always stressed that she has been on hand to give Britney the help she needed behind the scenes. She confirmed how this was noticeable through her role as an auntie to Britney’s two kids: Sean and Jayson.
In addition, she recently came out and revealed how she wants Britney to be able to make her own life decisions regardless of what others may think. In a prior statement, she said: “I’ve only loved and adored and supported my sister. I mean, this is my freaking big sister before any of this bulls—t. I am only her sister who is only concerned about her happiness.”
It is not clear how Britney feels towards her sister, as she has remained silent in the aftermath of it all. That is to be expected given that Britney did drive parts of her family away with the airing of her recent documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears.’
Even though there is no anger from Jamie towards her sister, it is not clear how the family dynamics will play out. After all, the family will have to decide between what Britney wants and what her father wants. This saga will not die down anytime soon.
