Jamie Lynn Spears is speaking out on her previous encounters with her sister Britney Spears.
Jamie Lynn Spears Accuses Britney Spears Of Cursing As Her Daughter Had ‘To Mediate’
The duo are not on the best of terms, which was signified when Britney decided to unfollow her sister on Instagram.
While Britney has had the support of the public in response to her conservatorship victory, it looks as though things are not as black and white as they are made out to be.
And so it showed, as Jamie admitted that previous altercations with her sister resulted in her becoming scared. And given that she is also a mother like Britney, it may explain why there is such tension between the two.
In an interview, Jamie said: “She cursed at me, so I just walked out of the rooms. I was like, ‘We’re just all family under one roof. I’m not trying to argue.’
“And when I tried to remove myself from the situation, that’s when I guess she just got really angry.” And things had apparently gotten so out of hand that Jamie’s daughter had witnessed this.
It is one thing having a feud with another person, but an entirely different matter altogether when it involves children. After all, such a thing has the danger of children being used as weapons in arguments between adults.
Sadly, for Jamie, she had to stand by as her daughter got involved. She added: “[My daughter Maddie] tried to mediate the situation. I hated that. Like, that’s not what you’re supposed to do. You’re 12.
It is ultimately Jamie’s word against Britney’s, but if these comments are taken to be true, then it is clear that the sisters will not reconcile until these issues are put to bed.
But the prospects of that actually happening are very unlikely, given what Jamie has stated about prior conflicts being resolved. And by the looks of it, there was a bigger preference for siding with Britney.
She continued: “They told me that I shouldn’t be upset. Like, I can’t upset Britney. I said, ‘You just saw me and my children be upset. When will I matter?”
