Jamie Foxx experienced what his family is referring to as a “medical complication,” but according to his daughter, the actor’s condition is already getting better.
Jamie’s daughter, actress Corinne Foxx, shared the medical update on social media on Wednesday. According to her, Jamie experienced the problem on Tuesday but received “great care” right away and is currently recovering.
Corinne continued to say, “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
It is yet unknown how Jamie came to learn of the still unidentified issue or whether he had any symptoms that led him to seek medical attention.

However, we do know that Jamie has been based in Atlanta and has been working on the movie “Back in Action” alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.
How long Jamie will need to stay in the hospital and whether or not he will be able to resume working on the movie are both unknown.
Tuesday morning, Jamie Foxx experienced a “medical emergency” and was transported to the hospital. According to reports, Jamie’s relatives, some of whom were not in town, traveled to the hospital because his situation was so critical. According to one source, “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.”
