Jada Pinkett Smith fully embraced her bald head by celebrating it on her social media.
Jada Pinkett Smith Embraces Her Bald Head
The star suffers from alopecia, which is a condition that results in the hair follicles being attacked that leads to hair loss. Although she has previously spoken about the challenges she has had in dealing with it from a confidence point of view, she has since then come a long way.
And now it seems that she is embracing the look to let everyone know that she is comfortable in her skin. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jada shared a picture of herself smiling as she looked into the distance. Her shaven head is clearly visible.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Happy Bald is Beautiful day to all my brothers and sisters with no hair.” Jada has come a long way since she first became aware of the condition in 2018.
During the course of her earlier years, she admitted that she began to panic after she noticed that her hair was suddenly falling out. And given that she is in the entertainment industry, where there is a significant amount of focus on image, this was the last thing that she needed to see.
In some comments at the time, she remarked: “I’ve been having issues with hair loss. It was terrifying when it first started. I was in the shower one day and had just handfuls of hair in my hands and I was just like, ‘Oh my God, am I going bald?”
Nevertheless, there is a feeling that Jada may still suffer from inhibitions. After all, who could forget her husband, Will Smith, slapping comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars after he had made a joke about Jada’s hair loss.
While some may argue Will acted on his own volition, there is an argument that Jada could have been offended. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
