Recently, when Rihanna was spotted out by the Papparazzi one of the photographers noticed that her ring finger was now occupied. They called out to her saying, “That’s a beautiful ring you have there, are you engaged?” it’s only natural one would suspect that seeing as she is expecting A$AP Rocky’s child and he has previously told people that she is the love of his life and they seem to be deliriously happy together.
(After Riri’s relationship history, we’re glad she seems to have found a good one.) We’d be here for it if she were to ever announce her engagement, as would the majority of her fans.
Is Rihanna engaged or nah?
However, Riri simply laughed off the photographer’s question saying, “This old ring? You act like you ain’t never seen this old ring before.” and apparently she’s right – she first started wearing the ring back in June of 2021 in a video shoot with A$AP but back then she wore it on her middle finger instead of her ring finger.
(Not surprising she’d switch fingers, sometimes pregnancy causes appendages to swell.) She was even wearing the ring on her middle finger during her pregnancy announcement photos. So, she’s right, it looks to be an old ring that just hasn’t lost its charm. It’s a significantly sized bauble too so it’s no wonder people are mistaking it for an engagement ring, most engagement rings do sort of look that way.
Speaking of pregnancy, in an interview with Elle recently she said that some days in the third trimester especially she wakes up and is like, “Oh, do I have to get dressed?” man, Riri, some of us feel that statement and we aren’t even pregnant. Haven’t most of us been feeling that way since quarantine started back in 2020?
That’s the most relatable statement of the century right there. It looks like Rihanna’s not engaged, yet, just like she hasn’t released her new album – yet, but at least with the album we know it’s a sure thing. As for the engagement… we at DSD will be watching for that news. Stay tuned!!!
