Craig Conover has dropped a significant bombshell by revealing how Kristin Cavallari could end up joining Southern Charm.

In an interview on Us Weekly, Craig revealed that anything is possible. He said: “I hope so. It’s not ruled out at all.” This would be a significant turn of events for several reasons. First, Kristin does not see eye to eye with the show’s other star Madison Le Croy. Kristin had accused Madison of getting too close and personal with her ex-Jay Cutler. Not only that, there had been rumours that Madison was, in fact, trying to get Jay to join the show himself.
When speaking on the Pillows and Beer podcast, Kristin said: “By the way, not naming names, someone on your show was repeatedly asking my soon-to-be ex-husband to come on your show over and over and over. This girl just wants me to be seen with her.” Aside from the obvious fireworks that could emerge, how did Craig come across Kristin? Well, the show’s other star Austen Kroll spoke on how Kristin made the first move.
Since their first meeting, they became very good friends and have not looked back ever since. In an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Austin said: “Honestly, she slid into Craig’s DMs and was like, ‘I’m coming into town,’ so we all went to dinner. We all kinda hit it off. We wanted to go and visit them, and we did. We all get along so well.”
Craig was impressed by Kristin’s business ventures, and during the course of his visit to one of her flagship stores, he felt he could learn something from her. Craig added: “She just opened her new store. … She put a lot of money into that store, and it’s beautiful. And so, I actually used that as an example, and I was like, ‘Can we do this?”
Things were going so well that there were rumours that Kristin and Craig were even an item. Craig, for his part, denied that by saying how they were just friends. He told Us Weekly previously: “We’ve been having a lot of fun. It was a new friendship.” After all, Kristin is more focused on hooking up with comedian Jeff Dye.
