Could it be that someone might be having a change of heart? That might be the case as there’s a new report that suggests Kate Middleton is apparently reaching out to Meghan Markle more since the birth of Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet Diana.
It was previously reported that both the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William, were none too pleased over the fact that Meghan threw Kate under the bus during her epic interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March. Here’s what you need to know.
Is Kate Middleton Trying To Reach Out To Meghan Markle Now?
According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge might be trying to bury the hatchet between her and her sister-in-law for the sake of their family, and of course, their futures.
One source says that Kate has been putting in an effort to send gifts to Lilibet along with little notes to Harry and Meghan as she apparently wants to rebuild her relationship with them.
One source close to the situation put it this way, “Kate has been reaching out to Meghan a lot more since [Lilibet] was born, she’s sending [notes and] gifts and trying to build up a relationship. The firm has been instructing staffers to reach out more to Harry and Meghan to get them to soften a bit.”
While William and Kate want to work things out, but it’s going to take some time, and maybe some therapy and a couple hundred empty bottles of wine. That’s because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just can’t get over how Harry and Meghan aired all of the royal family’s dirty laundry in the way that they did.
“Kate and William feel they were hugely welcoming to Meghan and Harry. Any accusations against the monarchy are accusations against their family. It’s hurtful and they feel let down,” one tipster said. “Obviously, they still love Harry and Meghan, but this interview has ruffled feathers.
