British Royal Family News find that Kate Middleton has been left absolutely mortified after Meghan Markle told the world that the Duchess of Cambridge made her cry before her royal wedding in 2018. To make matters worse, Kate hasn’t even been given a chance to tell her side of the story, either. Here’s what you need to know.
Meghan asserted during her sit-down interview with Oprah that Kate reduced her to tears over flower girl dresses before Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry.
And while Meghan apparently didn’t want to throw Kate under the bus, she did want to point out that the royal family never corrected this story, as the original one suggested it was Meghan who had made Kate cry.

Royal expert Katie Nichol though told OK! That Kate has been left horrified over this public revelation because the Duchess “has never wanted any suggestion of a rift with Meghan to come out in the press.’’
“Kate is so discreet and respects her personal life. You never hear about her falling out with anyone because she is very careful with how she treats others,” Nicholl said.
“Kate felt [the incident] was all sorted, so to have it brought up again was mortifying.’’
During her talk with Oprah, Meghan said that her spat with Kate was over flower girl dresses “and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings,” she said.
“It was a really hard week of the wedding and [Middleton] was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note,” Meghan explained to Oprah.
Katie Nicholl added that behind closed doors, Middleton “has been saddened, disappointed and hurt” by the couple’s comments.
