Irina Shayk has revealed why she will be keeping her dating life private following the recent news that she had split up from Kanye West.

Irina, for her part, was linked to the rapper following his split from Kim Kardashian. During their short time together, they were spotted hanging out in Paris on the rapper’s 44th birthday.
While things did look to be promising, they parted ways as they realised that they could not reconcile their career goals with their dating. That is why Irina has decided to be coyer in the future.
In an interview with Highsnobiety, she said: “Tomorrow there is going to be a rumour that I’m dating my doorman, OK? Then after tomorrow, it’s going to be someone else. Look, there’s always something there, and I’m just keeping it to myself.” This is understandable given how things had ended with Kayne.
The pair had been friends for a very long time, given that Irina had worked with Kayne during the preparation for his music video entitled, ‘Power.’
But having a good friendship was not enough for them to make it as a couple, even though they had many things in common. A source said: “Kanye and Irina are over, but they never really started. There’s nothing going on there. [They] aren’t great romantic partners. They will always be friends and support each other’s work.”
Despite her failure with Kanye, Irina had nothing but words of praise for her ex Bradley Cooper. The duo had been together for a period of four years before splitting up in 2019.
During this time, they raised their daughter Lea. And in the aftermath of their split, they have managed to stay on good terms for her sake. She added: “He’s a full-on, hands-on dad — no nanny. Lea went on holiday with him for almost two weeks — I didn’t call them once.”
Irina will certainly be keeping her options open, and she will have learnt some valuable lessons following her split from Kanye. It will not be long before she finds someone to settle down with. Time will tell who that person will be.
