H&M took away all Justin Bieber products after the pop star reprimanded the Swedish company for using his name and image without his permission.

H&M Withdraws Justin Bieber Products After He Brands Them Trashy-‘SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU’

On Monday, 19th December 2022, Bieber alerted his massive social media following that they should not purchase the garments; the company had taken his pictures and put them on hoodies and totes. Additionally, they were apparently selling a mobile phone cover featuring lyrics from his song “Ghost”.

With that being said, Justin did not hold back on his anger. In his comments, he said: “I didn’t aprove [sic] any of the merch collection that they put up at H&M …All without my permission and approval.

“SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU. The H&M MERCH THEY MADE OF ME IS TRASH AND I DIDN’T APPROVE IT DON’T BUY IT.” Company representatives asserted that they had abided by the required approval processes, but they ultimately withdrew the collection as a gesture of respect for the singer.

And yet, H&M has drawn inspiration from Bieber’s music in the past. Last year, they released a collection focusing on his fifth album, “Changes”. One of the sweatshirts featured the artwork from the album, while another showcased a cartoon of the singer with the album’s title.

The fans on social media were not shocked to see Justin take this decision. This was on the basis that he did not want to mislead his fan base into buying something that he did not support. Not only that, but it was an attempt by Justin to protect himself.

One person wrote: “@handm that’s surprising that H&M did this..given all of their clothes are very inexpensive/ly made I don’t blame him and that was super presumptuous if true.”

It is fair to say that Justin was not that impressed by what he had seen. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
