Hilaria Baldwin has hit back after critics bashed her expanding family amid the news that she is expecting her 7th child.
Hilaria Baldwin Responds After Criticism Over Her Expanding Family-‘I Am Grateful’
Hilaria, for her part, had confirmed in March that she was expecting another child with her husband Alec Baldwin. This was the last thing that you expected to hear, especially since everything that the couple had been through.
Alec has been subjected to heavy criticism in the aftermath of the ‘Rust’ scandal with question remarks remaining whether or not he is going to be held liable for the incident which led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Not only that, but as Alec is 64-years-old, people could not understand why he would want another child. This is on top of the fact that he has another child with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
With that being said, Hilaria wanted to set the record straight and let everyone know she was delighted by the news. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a series of pictures showing her baby bump.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I am grateful for this experience. I know too well the joys and the losses, the beauty and the heartache, that motherhood brings. I have learned to respect and embrace the wonderful.”
This is entirely understandable since Hilaria has had to deal with many miscarriages throughout her life. That would make the prospect of becoming a mother once again even more appealing.
In addition, since the Baldwin family has been through a lot with the Rust scandal, a child may provide them with something positive to focus on. And that is precisely how Hilaria put things into perspective.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I know too well the joys and the losses, the beauty and the heartache, that motherhood brings.”
