Yes, Kanye West is definitely that “ex.” Even though Kim Kardashian has made it pretty clear that she’s moved on with Pete Davidson, it seems like Kanye still can’t get his wife off his mind. Not only has he publicly said that he still wants to make their marriage work, but he’s now bought a house directly across from Kim, which makes him her new neighbor. Here’s why.
According to reports, Kanye purchased a $4.5 million dollar home on the same street as his estranged neighbors. They might no longer be husband and wife per se, but they will certainly be neighbors now.

“Kanye really wanted to buy a home near Kim and their kids to be close to them,” a source tells ET as to why Kanye purchased the residence in Hidden Hills, California, which boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms. “Kanye saw a house on Kim’s block was on the market and jumped at the chance to get it.”
The source notes that the musician “thinks it will be easier to co-parent with Kim if they live close to each other.” Kim and Kanye are parents to 8-year-old North, 6-year-old Saint, 3-year-old Chicago, and 2-year-old Psalm.
In addition to being near his children, the source adds that Kanye “also still wants to win [Kim] back.” Back in December, Kanye shared a list of reasons why he wants to give his marriage to Kim another shot with a friend, according to Page Six. They are as follows:
One: “He isn’t sure if any other woman is going to be able to put up with him. He is a lot — and Kim is already used to everything, he doesn’t have to explain things to her. She knows how to put up with him when he is going through his dark days.
Two: “The second reason is the kids” — daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2. Third: “As a religious person he doesn’t want to get a divorce.” And there you have it, folks.
