Just when you thought things couldn’t get any uglier in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation case, it sure enough did. Not only did it get ugly, but it got smelly, too.
Johnny Depp said in his trial testimony this week that he didn’t believe his ex-wife Amber Heard when she said that one of their dogs pooped on their marital bed.

“My initial response to that was, I laughed,” Depp said, describing the reaction to seeing a photo of the feces. “It was so outside, it was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”
Back in 2020, it was reported that Depp was so sullen and disgusted upon discovering the poop in his bed that he wanted the pooper identified immediately with a DNA test. His property manager, Kevin Murphy, told London’s High Court that despite laughing off the incident at first and nicknaming his wife ‘Amber Turd,’ he still wanted the matter investigated.
“At that stage, I believe he suggested getting the feces DNA tested to see where they had come from,” Murphy told the court.
Amber, meanwhile, was left upset over the matter because it led to more marital strife between her and her husband Johnny at the time. “My wife left a whopper poop on my bed. Amber Turd,” he wrote in one, while another said, “I’ve been through a whole lot of s–t with her…”
“She also told me that leaving the feces in Mr. Depp’s bed had been ‘just a harmless prank,’” Murphy said. However, Depp now said during his trial that he believes one of Amber Hear’s friends might have pooped in their bed.
