Courtney Love has retracted her comments on social media expressing her support for Johnny Depp amid his trial with Amber Heard.

Courtney, for her part, was very vocal about how Johnny had intervened in her life when she was at a very low point. This included an admission that he had given her CPR after she had taken an overdose in 1995.
Not only that, but this was accompanied by an admission that Johnny was there for her daughter in the aftermath of her husband Kurt Cobain’s suicide. While Courteny did not address anything in relation to the trial itself, she has decided to step back from the comments.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Courtney shared a video of herself walking her dog. She has a huge smile on her face and could not be any happier. The post was captioned by the following comments: “The platform accidentally posted a story I didn’t want public…I want to show neutral support for a friend.
“I dont want to bully. I’ve been bullied enough. I did not want to express my own bias / internalized mysoginy.” It seems that Courtney was not necessarily backtracking the words that she had said, but rather, she wanted to avoid getting herself involved in a situation that does not directly concern her.
And given her following comments, the implication is that she may have received a certain amount of backlash that made her rethink things. Not only that, but after having struggled with substance abuse issues in the past, she simply wanted to focus on herself.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “Is it ANY OF MY FU***NG BUSINESS? No…I want nothing to do with contributing more online bullying to someone enduring being bullied like no one ever has been online…If I hurt anyone, please accept my amends.”
