It has been less than a week since the rumors first surfaced that Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers and Big Little Lies actress, Shailene Woodley are long distance dating. Now, in announcement made by Rodgers as he accepted his third NFL M.V.P. award on Saturday, the pair are reportedly engaged!
Aaron did not reveal the identity of his fiancé in his acceptance speech, simply saying, “2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season. I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career.”

The 39-year-old pro football star also thanked a “great group of people” who have supported him, including his team and his fiancé.
Neither Aaron nor 29-year-old Shailene, who has taken home several People’s Choice, Teens Choice and MTV awards for her acting roles have confirmed they are even in a relationship with one another, but an unknown source, close to the couple recently spilled the beans.
The pair is “very happy” together, the source reported, and while their low key relationship is long-distance currently, the love birds are making it work.
In 2016, when Aaron’s younger brother Jordan was on The Bachelorette, it came to light that Aaron is estranged from his family. Speaking to the New York Times in 2017, Aaron’s father confirmed the rift. “Fame can change things,” Ed Rodgers said before revealing that he hasn’t spoken to his son since becoming a household name.
Here’s hoping the rift can be healed in time for Aaron and Shailene’s nuptials!
