According to reports, a judge has upheld Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking conviction, despite a juror’s failure to disclose before the trial began that he had been a victim of childhood sexual abuse. Maxwell, a British socialite, was convicted in December of helping the millionaire Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse several teenage girls.
Ghislaine Maxwell’s Sex Trafficking Conviction Upheld By Judge
US Judge Alison J. Nathan declined to order a new trial weeks after questioning the juror under oath in a New York courtroom about why he failed to disclose his personal history as an abuse survivor on a questionnaire during the jury selection process.
As many fans know by now, Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of four out of five sex trafficking charges. But according to the new ITV documentary, “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew, and the Pedophile,” Ghislaine was closer to the Duke of York than it was earlier suggested.
Former Buckingham Palace Royal Protection Officer, Paul Page, describes the access Maxwell had to the palace. The documentary explores Maxwell and Epstein’s extensive network of rich, powerful and famous friends, speaking with some of those in their ‘Little Black Book‘ of contacts.
Page said that he first met Ghislaine Maxwell in 2001, alleging: “From the way she was allowed to enter and exit the palace, at will, we realized… suspected, that she may have had an intimate relationship with Prince Andrew.”
“A colleague of mine remembered her coming in four times in one day from the morning till the evening – she kept coming in and out, in and out…” he claimed.
