In the world of film, there are many ups and downs that actors have to deal with. Gal Gadot has started opening up about the way that Joss Whedon treated her when they were filming Justice League. She talked to Elle magazine about all of the issues that she had when they were filming and what she said is pretty shocking. She wanted to open up about it so everyone knows the way that he treated her and how it is better for women to stand up for themselves with men in these high positions.
Gadot Opens Up
Gadot told Elle, “I was shocked by the way that he spoke to me. I just did what I felt like I had to do. And it was to tell people that it’s not okay.” When Gadot started to feel as if Whedon was picking on her, she immediately started to find out who she needed to talk to about his behavior. She told the heads of Warner Brothers and she said they “took care of it.”

She added, “I would have done the same thing if I was a man.” The real question is would he have treated her like that if she was a man?
Gadot said, “My sense of justice is very strong…. but whatever, it’s done. Water under the bridge.” She mentioned that Whedon’s behavior came from the fact that he thought she was being righteous on the set. “You’re dizzy because you can’t believe this was just said to you. And if he says it to me, then obviously he says it to many other people.”
Gal wanted Joss to know that he couldn’t talk to her the way that he did and when she defended herself, she said that he made threats to her career and “if I said or did something, he would make my career miserable.”
Gal wasn’t the only one on the set who had problems with Whedon. Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg, opened up about how abusive and racist Whedon was towards him during the filming of Justice League. Warner Brothers continues to investigate his behavior on set. Whedon has yet to make a comment on these allegations, but it doesn’t look like things are getting better for him. Warner Brothers feels that these cast members are not faking these feelings and perhaps the way he has treated them could be what outs his career in jeopardy.
