It has been revealed by an employee at Kensington Palace that Meghan Markle was having difficulty adapting to the protocol of royalty.
Former Staff Member Exposes Meghan Markle-‘She Hated Being A Second-Rate Princess, Second To Catherine’
That is according to an extract from Tom Quinn’s new publication, ‘Gilded Youth An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family.’ The worker elucidated that Meghan was enthralled by the universal prominence that would arrive with being a princess – but she was not comfortable being compared to Kate Middleton due to the competition.
In the book, the worker recalls: “She hated the constraints and the rules; she hated being a second-rate princess – second to Catherine Middleton, I mean. Most of all she hated the fact that she had to do what she was told and go where she was told in the endless and to a large extend pointless royal round.”
The employee suggested that Meghan had difficulty adjusting to her new life where she was no longer in charge of her fate, something she was known for as shown by her life prior to the firm. After all, she was a briefcase model on ‘Deal or No Deal,’ as well as an actress on Suits. This demonstrated the flexibility with which she lived her life.
And yet, Meghan was always going to be second fiddle to the late Queen Elizabeth II. That is why royal expert Angela Levin has spoken previously about Meghan failing to give up her ambitions for the sake of royal duties. And that is something that must have played on Meghan’s mind.
The book added: “I don’t think in the whole of history there was ever a greater divide between what someone expected when they became a member of the royal family and what they discovered it was really like. She was hugely disappointed.”
As of now, Meghan is still in the firm’s shadows since her and Prince Harry have failed to rebrand away from the royals. But there is still time for them to do just that. So there you have it folks.
