In the latest addition to his tattoo collection, Chandler Jones, the current NFL free agent, opted to permanently inscribe the word “Messiah” across the top of his head. The 33-year-old athlete documented the recent tattoo session, conducted at an Arizona shop, by sharing footage on his Instagram page Wednesday.
The video showcased an artist skillfully applying the needle to Jones’s dome as he calmly underwent the process. Following the completion of the tattoo, Jones revealed that he sensed his late mother, Camille, advising him to cease acquiring more tattoos.
Since his release from the Las Vegas Raiders in September, Jones has seemingly encountered a challenging period, marked by various encounters with law enforcement and perplexing Instagram posts.
The specifics of the Super Bowl champion’s situation remain unclear, prompting concern and support from his followers in the comments section of his uploads.

The “Messiah” ink isn’t the sole addition to Jones’s recent body art endeavors. He also had “Beyoncé Giselle Knowles” tattooed on his arm as a gesture of admiration for the music icon. This particular tattoo was crafted by artist Chris Benvenuto at West Coast Tattoo Parlor in Las Vegas.
After the tattoo Instagram stories, he continued to post videos of himself teasing music that seems mediocre at best. However, it felt like he was truly happy with what he was doing and showed pride in what he had created.
There has been a lot of concern of his wellbeing, and while he may be making some strange decisions, it seems he has been able to stay out of trouble lately, which is all we can hope for.
