In the book Spare, Harry divulges that he took part in mounting the woman in the back of a crowded bar, believed to be the Rattlebone Inn in Wiltshire, which he explains was an extremely embarrassing experience. He recounted the manner in which the woman had handled him like a ‘young stallion’ and had ‘spanked’ him.
His astonishing revelation has caused wild conjectures concerning the identity of the anonymous female. Once gossip began to circulate, actress Liz Hurley denied any involvement. Rumours also linked the Prince to a former model, Suzannah Harvey, who was known for her interest in horseback riding.
It was reported that at the Beaufort Hunt Christmas Ball held at Badminton House in Gloucestershire, Harry had charmed Miss Harvey with compliments before taking her outside and across a muddy field.
In her comments at the time, she remarked: “It was very nice, but as we were kissing I started to get worried that his bodyguards would be looking for him. I didn’t want to get him into trouble…The kissing was full of passion. My mouth was numb and couldn’t move.”
And yet, Harvey has refused to discuss if she was the woman who helped Harry lose his virginity. The fans on social media were shocked by the revelations. This was on the basis that Harry was disclosing very intimate parts of his life, which flew in the face of trying to remain private.
One person wrote: “How much information would Harry have given, if he was not being private,” while another person stated: “Clearly nobody’s privacy matters except his own.” It is fair to say that this was not Harry’s finest moment.
