Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, has stated that some Americans find Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be bothersome.

In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Ron, a potential candidate for the US presidential election of 2024, expressed his opinion that the American public is not particularly interested in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In his comments, he said: “I mean that’s just the reality. I think for some they are [annoying]. I mean look, I’m not involved in that… But I think for some Americans they can be.”
He boasted that his new book, titled The Courage To Be Free, surpassed the Duke’s revealing memoir, Spare, in terms of popularity in the United States.
Not only that, but it is currently unclear whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who reside in Montecito, California, will travel to London for King Charles III’s coronation on May 6th, 2023.
It is believed that there is tension between the senior members of the royal family and Harry and Meghan after the release of Harry’s memoir titled “Spare”.
Even though the Sussexes’ spokesperson verified that they were sent an email by the King to attend the event, it is not yet confirmed if they will attend.
And yet, there is a possibility that the couple may not attend the event because it coincides with their son Archie’s fourth birthday.
This factor cannot be ignored. In some prior comments, Harry remarked: “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then.
“But the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.”
The response on social media, however, towards DeSantis was daming. A certain subset of people equally directed their anger towards him on the grounds that he had the potential to alienate people too.
After all, he is considering making a run for office in 2024. One person wrote: “From what I’ve seen on comments de Santos can be annoying to Americans but go on u rubbish channel, drag the Duke & Duchess of Sussex into everything it’s the only way you feel relevant.”
