According to the Wall Street Journal, Sergey decided to file for divorce after discovering that Nicole cheated on him, despite Sergey and Elon being very close friends for a long period of time.
Not only had Elon stayed at Sergey’s home, but it is also alleged that the latter had offered some support to his Tesla company in 2008 during the financial crash. Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following factors.
First of all, at the time of the alleged affair, it is claimed that Sergey and Nicole were separated, irrespective of the fact that they were still living together. While that does not justify Elon’s conduct, it does add some much-needed context.
Secondly, it is believed that Sergey decided to respond and remove any financial help he had offered by liquidating his investments in Elon’s companies. This once again demonstrates Musk’s failure to be able to hold down stable relations with those around him.
After all, he is a father to ten children with three different baby mamas. And the fact that he could not hold on to a stable relationship with any one of them is indicative of a man that struggles to stay in one place.
It is not surprising that the fans on social media did not have much positivity for Elon. A certain subset of people began to deplore his conduct, meanwhile, others simply began to mock the billionaire.
One person wrote: “Is Elon even that attractive? Yeah he’s a gazillionaire but would you really want that on top of you?? Is that something someone would want?”
