In line with an exclusive report, a legal expert has warned that Prince Harry could face consequences, including losing his right to reside in the US, if he openly discusses his past drug use.

Prince Harry’s US Visa Could Face Consequences For His Drug Admissions

According to Rahmani, who is the president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, there are no exemptions for either royalty or recreational use.

This means that both types of use are subject to the same rules and regulations. In his book “Spare” published in January, the Duke of Sussex shared that he had consumed alcohol in large quantities, used cocaine, and smoked marijuana throughout his life.

Although he stated that he only used cocaine during his teenage years, he also acknowledged that he had experimented with psychedelic drugs during his adulthood.

And given that he has been so open about it, there could be repercussions. In his comments, he said: “An admission of drug use is usually grounds for inadmissibility.

“That means Prince Harry’s visa should have been denied or revoked because he admitted to using cocaine, mushrooms and other drugs.”

In an online conversation with trauma specialist Gabor Maté, the prince mentioned that he considers psychedelic drugs an essential aspect of his life.

And as part of this process, Harry has spoken about the trauma he suffered in having had to walk behind his mother’s coffin during her funeral.

And in his memoir, he recalled driving through the same tunnel that she had died in. That may explain why he has been so frank over his drug usage.

According to Attorney James Leonard, he does not agree with Rahmani’s opinion that Harry is in great danger of losing his status in the US.

This was on the grounds that the Duke had not been in trouble with the law when it came to drug usage.

His following comments confirmed as much: “You’ve got to give them something that would trigger it, and revealing it in a book, that you experimented with drugs when you were a young man, I don’t think gets you there.

“Immigration is not going to do anything based on that. If he got arrested or if he got a DWI, then we’re having a different conversation.”

It is fair to say that the Duke should refrain from discussing things so openly to avoid this controversy.

So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
