It all began when Piers Morgan refused to apologize for not wanting to believe Meghan Markle when she told Oprah Winfrey that she experienced suicidal thoughts during her time behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace.

The next day Sharon Osbourne defended her good friend Piers, which led to a heated battle with her co-host Sherryl Underwood. Sharon reportedly went too far in her emotional debate to the point in which she was forced to apologize the next day.
In a lengthy piece for the Mail on Sunday, Piers defended Sharon and slammed Meghan Markle in the same breath, by suggesting that the Duchess and her followers were exploiting cancel culture.
Piers wrote, “What’s happened to Sharon and me in the past fortnight isn’t really about Ms. Markle. It’s about a far bigger issue than one delusional Duchess, and that’s everyone’s right to be free to express our honestly held opinions, forcefully and passionately if we feel like it.”
Following the controversy, a lot of fans are now standing up for both Piers and Sharon and have even suggested that they start their own talk show together.
Some comments on Twitter have included, “Piers you need to come back, this woke world view is getting too much,” along with, “Piers and Sharon together that has my vote right there. You two need to continue speaking the truth.”
