On Sunday, 5th February 2023, a number of supporters flocked to social media to express their bewilderment about Madonna’s face at the 2023 Grammys.

The 64-year-old’s face caught the attention of the viewers when she went up on the stage to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith during their performance of the song “Unholy.” 

In the pictures here, we can see she has tied her hair in two braids, one on either side of her face and they hung down, while her eyebrows had been lightened. To complete the look, she donned a black suit consisting of a blazer and a maxi skirt, along with a white shirt and a black tie. 

To add a bit of funkiness, she wore purple platform heels and sheer fishnet tights. But by the looks of it, this did not age very well on social media as the comments were brutal. One person wrote: “This legit looks like a Madonna impersonator with pics of rhe [sic] real Madonna in the background.

“She really f–ked up her face,” while another person stated: “Madonna looks good for her age… if her age is 2,700 year old vampire who eats babies and small animals alive.” Over the past 12 months, Madonna has been subject to a lot of feedback and opinion concerning her looks.

According to medical professionals who specialize in plastic surgery, it is thought that the celebrity has had a facelift, a nose job, and had her skin tightened. But any backlash towards that is not going to stop her with her music.

She is set to undertake her ‘celebration tour’ that will recognise her 40 years worth of work in the music industry. It is hoped that the tour will kick off in July, which suggests that Madonna has no plans on slowing down anytime soon.
