Fans Defend Lily-Rose Depp After Criticism That She Had Not Spoken About Her Father Johnny Depp’s Case Against Amber Heard-‘Leave Her Alone’
Lilly, for her part, has refrained from posting anything on her social media when it comes to the trial. As a result, people sought out Lily’s last Instagram post which was done shortly before the trail began on Monday, 11th April 2022, to highlight her silence. After all, she has not posted since then which was on Saturday, 9th April 2022.
Nevertheless, her silence could be explained for the following reasons. First of all, she could inadvertently make comments that may end up harming her father’s case. Thus, there is a chance that she has been advised to stay silent until the outcome of the case.
Secondly, she has spoken about her father very glowing in the past. In the picture here, allegedly taken in 2016, we can see that Johnny is hugging Lily. The post was captioned by the following comments: “My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know.
“He’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same.” With that being said, fans came out in droves in order to back Lily.
This was on the basis that real fans of Depp should be sticking together rather than causing division. Not only that, but Lily may also not know enough about the nature of events that happened between her father and Amber.
One person wrote: “If they truly supported Johnny they wouldn’t harass his DAUGHTER but no they just want an excuse to be misogynistic,” while another person stated: “Johnny would not want you all attacking his daughter. Leave her alone.
