An award-winning therapist, Danny Greeves, who specialises in trauma, claims that Prince Harry has been engaging in ‘trauma dumping on a vast scale’ as part of a meticulously planned public relations plan since the publication of his book, Spare.
Expert Accuses Prince Harry Of Using Trauma To Cleverly Market His Projects-‘Harry’s Story Taps Into That Tragedy To Triumph’
He asserted that Harry is utilising private facts from his life in order to bring attention to his new book. This was most notably seen as Harry recalled driving through the tunnel where his mother, Princess Diana, had died in order to try and get some closure.
While that may have been the case, Danny cautioned that the prince’s disclosure of psychological trauma could be disturbing to other individuals who have gone through the death of a loved one.
In his comments, Danny said: “The focus here should be on how many other people who have experienced the death of a parent may be being triggered. I wanted to share how this could be impacting so many other people who are struggling with their own grief from the past.”
Nevertheless, it is possible to argue whether this was a wise move. According to a recent poll by YouGov, only 26 percent have now seen Harry as having a positive impact. As such, his popularity has declined since the publication of the memoir. And yet, Danny made it clear that this was a calculated move to get more eyes on his projects.
After all, no publicity is bad publicity, as they. His following comments confirmed as much: “Harry is in the midst of a well-thought-out ‘PR strategy – working to raise as much awareness for his documentary and his book as possible.
“Harry’s story taps into that primal desire of the public to hear the story of someone who goes from tragedy to triumph.” With that being said, it is only for so long that Harry can do this before he has to change his approach.
