Recently in a clip released on Fox News, Eric Trump was complimenting the LGBT community for coming out in droves to support his Father. I must admit I haven’t really watched that channel in like… ever so I really wasn’t aware of that, but you know, alternative facts exist these days, whether we’re aware of them or not. So there’s that. He was the epitome of pride, beaming from ear to ear with his praise of the community, in fact he even said he was part of that community.
Wait, did we hear that right?
Did Eric Trump just come out in the most non-chalant way possible on national TV? If so, congratulations, he’s just basically leapt a tall building in one bound for all of the LGBT community. You know, how we all want the day to happen when people no longer have to ‘come out’ and their sexual identities are just accepted by everyone and it’s not a big deal?
Say what, Eric?
I mean, the LGBT community has been fighting for this very a long time and if this is true then Fox News just gave an excellent illustration on how to handle that because the anchor seemed to gloss right over that and accept Eric’s admission of being part of the LGBT community without kicking up much of a fuss! I mean, considering the demographic the reaction is a bit surprising, but you know, a step forward, is a step forward.
Now, I think we were all under the impression that Eric, was happily married to a woman. But just because he happens to be happily married to a woman doesn’t mean that there aren’t things such as open relationships, and bisexuality.
Maybe Eric and his wife fully embrace his identity and have a happy, loving, understanding relationship where each can be themselves, openly, and if that’s the case, then bravo! Maybe now that Eric’s come forth and fully embraced this new identity, maybe this can serve as an excellent illustration to the rest of the red constituents out there about how they should proceed when their friends or family members come out to them.
I would advise him to tread carefully though, because not all of that demographic would be on board with this new revelation, citing what Leviticus says about the situation. However I’m sure a fair number would then clap right back, right along with the rest of us allies and tell them to judge not, but you know, since he seemed to get an A-OK from Fox News, it won’t be long before the rest of those rootin’ tootin’ maga hat wearing consituents jump right on the bandwagon!
