Emmerdale Spoilers finds that it has been an eventful year for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), but her fortunes could go from bad to worse this Christmas due to the street that she has been under. She has been hitting the bottle as a way to cope with the guilt from her actions. However, she still hasn’t managed to get over the guilt that she has felt for cheating on her long-term partner.
To make matters worse for Moira, the man that she cheated with has also abandoned her. Cain (Jeff Hordley) has also been keeping his distance since the secret came out, while Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) has made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her after she damaged his friendship with Cain.
Emmerdale Spoilers: Christmas Loneliness For Moira
It is going to be a tough Christmas for Moira as she feels the true repercussions from her steamy affair with Nate (Jurrell Carter). The two were locked in an affair throughout the year before Cain finally uncovered their secret. There was almost deadly repercussions when he found out, but he eventually saved Nate from drowning.
Nate has since moved away from Moira and has claimed that he will even stop her from seeing their kids. There will be further consequences for her drunken behaviour as she continues to lose more clients over the festive season. Pete left her side and decided to join forces with Nate.
Emmerdale Spoilers: Cain Returns
This new betrayal has led her to drink even more at home by herself. Cain will return on Christmas Day, but upon finding her drunk, he will announce that she will not be seeing the kids this year. Cain offers to help her, but she is adamant that she doesn’t have a problem, which forces Cain to leave.
He never returns, and she is forced to spend Christmas alone, and then leads her to drink more. The scenes will be devastating to viewers, who will feel that Moira may need to reach out and seek help to deal with the problem that she has developed with alcohol. But, with all of the men out of her life, who could possibly step up and help Moira in her time of need?
