Emmerdale spoilers finds that Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) was happy when he found out he is not Maya Stepney’s baby daddy after she decided to leave the baby at his doorstep. After David Metclafe dropped a huge clue, we may find out that Liam Cavanagh (played by Jonny McPherson) had changed the DNA results and the identity of the baby’s father will not be revealed for now.
Fans of the show were stunned when they found out Jacob Gallagher is not Maya Stepney’s (played by Louisa Clein) baby daddy. This is coming after Liam Cavanagh had sent of David and Jacob’s DNA. David plead with the doctor to tamper with the DNA results so that Maya wouldn’t ruin Jacob’s life further. With this happening, does it mean we won’t know who the baby daddy is?

Maya left her baby on the duo’s doorstep, leaving them stunned and confused, and Leyla Harding (played by Roxy Shalihi) told Lian to carry out a DNA test to find out if one of them was the father of the child. Emmerdale viewers watch David tell Liam to tamper with the DNA results so that Jacob won’t be revealed as the baby’ father.
Liam refused to do what David asked him to do, but could he have decided to change the result when realised who the father of the baby is? When they received the DNA results, Leya said that Jacob had a “lucky escape”, pronouncing David has the baby daddy.
As soon as Leyla announced the result, viewers saw Jacob relived and David stunned. Emmerdale fans are however convinced that the baby daddy is Jacob. One Emmerdale fan wrote: “No way is it David’s Liam has obviously faked the results for him #WhostheDaddy #emmerdale” “Oooh so after all that David is actually the baby’s Biological Father after all. Or did Liam somehow change the results like he’d asked? #Emmerdale,” another fan said.
Liam may have another reason for changing the DNA result as he may have been with her the around the time she fell pregnant. Liam and Maya were married before she had an affair with David. Some Emmerdale fans are already suspecting that Liam is the father of the baby but wants the truth to be hidden. Is David the real father of Maya’s baby or will Liam shock viewers and confess to have tampered with the result for personal reasons?
