Elon Musk publicly expressed his opinion about Greta Thunberg, the teenage climate activist, following her heated exchange with Andrew Tate on social media.

Thunberg achieved fame after she gave a withering response to Tate on Twitter, when he attempted to involve her in a discussion regarding his cars and their Co2 emissions. Soon after, it was reported that Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Romania for their involvement in a probe related to human trafficking and rape.
It has been reported that Romanian officials were made aware of Tate’s whereabouts in the nation due to a pizza box visible in the video response he posted in reply to Thunberg. In response, Thunberg responded with a brutal comment: “This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes.”
With that being said, the CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, gave his view on Thunberg with the following comments: “The sheer amount of brand awareness achieved by Greta within a few years is astounding. I think she’s cool tbh.”
In and amongst this, the authorities have declared that the Tate brothers will be kept in jail for a month while the law enforcement officers look into the claims filed against them. Additionally, prosecutors reported the discovery of six females who were allegedly subjected to sexual exploitation by the accused.
The fans on social media called out Elon over his response. This was on the basis that he had allowed Andrew Tate to be reinstated back on Twitter in the first place. Therefore, his comments were seen as jumping on the bandwagon from the publicity that Greta had generated.
One person wrote: “Musk hitching onto the Thunberg bandwagon? Who’d have thunk it,” while another person stated: “Will Musk’s praise extend to acknowledging his own error in reinstating Tate’s Twitter account.
