Elizabeth Chambers, who is no longer with Armie Hammer, has indicated that she was just as shocked and surprised as anyone else regarding the claims that have been made against him.

Hammer has had accusations of abuse and is said to have sent text messages to a number of ladies portraying sexual themes including cannibalism. Additionally, a female declared that the actor had raped her in 2017, which led to a nine-month criminal inquiry by the Los Angeles Police Department.
While that may have been the case, Hammer denied all charges of sexual impropriety, as no charges were ever filed. But given that she had just filed for divorce in 2020, coupled with the fact that they have two children together, it was alarming to see the person that she had known for so long get himself caught up in this type of situation.
In her comments, she said: “I was learning things as the public was. I was like, ‘There are no words. What the f—?’” In response, Armie did come out to provide some further context into the whole saga. He admitted that the backlash from the scandal had led him to consider committing suicide.
However, he prevented himself from doing so on the basis that he had children. In addition, he recalled how he was sexually abused when he was only 13-years-old by a pastor, which may have had an impact on him being keen on BDSM themes.
He further maintained that he never engaged in any sexual activities with someone without their permission and verified that each partner gave consent before any intimate encounters. His following comments confirmed as much: “Every single thing was discussed beforehand.
“I have never thrust this on someone unexpectedly. Never.” Clearly, this was a lot for Elizabeth to take in which is why her reaction has not come as a surprise. So there you have it folks.
