El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that the trolling is strong at Telemundo. The network keeps saying it’s the end, although an Instagram video has raised some questions about that. If the series really is ending in a few days (the Gran Final is set for December 9th), this is not a good way to go out. Let’s go over a few points from last night’s episode.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Más recuerdos
This series loves it’s flashbacks. El Final del Paraíso spoilers relate that last season was full of them. Some referred to the original season in 2008, but changed a lot of details. That trend continued Wednesday, December 5th. We saw several flashbacks to Catalina Santana’s (Carmen Villalobos) pre-pago days. They also showed some of Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán’s (Kimberly Reyes) kills over the years. Those clips were from when Majida Issa played the role. In addition, they showed us a first season Si Hay clip where Diabla had Catalina Marín Santana (Carolina Gaitán) and her family arrested for being thieves. Of course, Diabla planted the evidence against them. While it’s somewhat fitting to have a few old clips when you’re saying goodbye to a series, it felt like overkill. They do, after all, only have three more episodes including tonight’s. But that’s not the only problem last night.

One of the more unpopular storylines of Si Hay was when Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) fainted after learning Cata Grande was actually alive and living as DEA agent Virginia Fernandez in Miami. Somehow, that little fall she took gave her such a serious head injury, she needed an operation. Not only that, but she spent a long time with no memories. This plot line didn’t get a satisfactory ending, either. In an abrupt finish, we flashed forward to Doña Hilda and Cata 2 together again. There was no hint of ever having a problem, nor any indication of how things worked out. Before that, Dona Hilda was quite hostile to her family, and didn’t even want to go back to them. Making it even more insane, she apparently preferred to stay with Diabla than go back to her loved ones. You know, the woman she was blaming for Cata Grande’s bad path in life. Well, the writers decided that this would be a good time to revisit the memory loss thing.
In an unfathomable move, Santiago Sanin (Robert Manrique) not only got through any security Diabla has as Primera Dama, but he also managed to come thisclose to killing her. Instead, Diabla’s guard arrived and shot him. We can be okay with his bullet-proof vest sparing his life. We can’t, however, be okay with none of her guards figuring out he was alive. Making things even better, he was buried and managed to pull a Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) from Days of Our Lives. Yes, he dug himself out of his grave. Unfortunately, he also has—you guessed it—amnesia from the ordeal. With so little time and so much to resolve, it seems odd that the writers would introduce yet another thread. So, what’s this mean?

From the moment the Ultima Temporada promos came on, we had concerns. We laid that all out here. As the episodes following that first one play out, it’s more and more obvious that it was not meant to end this season. Also obvious? Fans shouldn’t go into the finale expecting a proper ending. If they follow their previous MO, there will definitely be a cliffhanger. Now, let’s just hope that video from Gergorio Pernía turns out to be correct. They’ll need another forty to give the fans the ending they deserve after following the show so long.
