Anyone following the show knows that parenting skills aren’t a dominant trait in the Santana family. This was evidenced by the mess in No Hay, as well as how Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) messed up by going to opposite extremes with Catalina Marín Santana (Carolina Gaitán). We saw Cata Grande have a similar issue when Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque). But is the worst yet to come? Here’s what you need to know.

In a very not-shocking twist, we learned something about Sebastian Sanín Santana (Carlos Báez) we figured from minute one of Alex Mondego (Pedro Calvo) appearing on the scene. El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that the so-called friends have actually been in a relationship all this time. Two lonely souls kept each other company, and eventually ended up falling for each other. This is revealed in a flashback scene in the Friday, November 15th episode. There’s just one issue. Alex needs Sebas to prove that he is loyal. There’s only one way to do that, as far as he’s concerned.

To prove his loyalty, he needs to help Alex get the revenge he promised Aaron “Mano Negra” Mondego (Juan Pablo Gamboa). The first person on his agenda is Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique). Alex figures that since he had to kill his own father, it’s only fitting that Sebas is the one to take out Santiago. This is not an easy task. Sebas is clearly upset, even as he struggles with the rage he feels toward his parents. But Alex has the cure for his hesitation.

Alex took Sebas into another room where Sebas ingested drugs to gather his nerve to do the job. It almost worked, but before the deed was done, the Calvary arrived. Edmundo “Sombra” Dorantes Borrero (Mauricio Cujar) and company rescued Santiago. It came at the expense of Arturo’s (Jason Lizarazo) life, a hard blow to our vigilantes.

However, Alex and Sebas got away. Based on some of the hate Sebas was displaying, we believe it won’t take long until Sebas is full-on evil. This is a weird twist of fate. Before the recast aging, Sebas was a sweet child. Actually, the best and most mature member of the whole family. We’re not sure how we feel about him embracing the dark side. We do, however, know that the drama is only just beginning.
