El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) died in the Tuesday, November 5th episode. The character had worked as Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán’s (Kimberly Reyes) right-hand man. However, in recent episodes, they’d been more at odds than anything. So how does this effect the DEA investigation into Diabla? Here’s what you need to know.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Suspicions
Diabla managed to use Aáron “Mano Negra” Mondego (Juan Pablo Gamboa) into the DEA to her—and his—advantage. The con lasted two years, with Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) being none the wiser. Recently, this has changed. The first thing that cause doubt was “Valeria Montes’” (Reyes) murder of Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido). We figured it wouldn’t fly, and it didn’t.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Pressure on
The situation only got worse when Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) got a protest together during an Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta) event designed to expose Diabla’s true identity. Cata Grande has paid attention, and even Diabla recently having Sasha Ferro (Isabela Amado) shoot her to pretend “Valeria” saved Cata Grande didn’t work. She spends a lot of time in the Tuesday, November 5th episode questioning Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) about “Valeria”. Afterwards, she tells Natalia Bérmudez (Linda Baldrich) that she is definitely still suspicious of “Valeria” and determined to get to the truth.

To stop that truth from getting out, Diabla needs to get rid of Calvo, who she knows was disloyal. She is determined he must die, so she enlists Sasha to help out. While Sasha is taking care of the hospital cameras, Diabla jumps into action. In a chilling scene that marks the end of this character’s journey, Diabla stands over his bed with a gun talking about how she doesn’t like traitors. She then shoots him, leaving a star witness for the DEA unable to talk.

This going to be a huge blow that’s going to rock Cata Grande. It’s also going to cause her a lot of frustration. They have been trying for a while now to find Diabla ever since they learned she survived that attack on her prison caravan. They’re starting at square one again, unless the promos are right and El Titi makes a surprise visit to Cata Grande in this evening’s episode. They’ve frankly been a bit iffy at times, as they promised ages ago that Diabla would be unmasked in a previous episode. That obviously hasn’t happened. Whatever does happen with this, expect some big moves coming. Especially when it comes to the security of her former hostages, José Luis “Jota” Vargas (Francisco Bolívar) and Albeiro.
