El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that Albeiro Marín’s (Fabián Ríos) never been the brightest guy. In fact, this has become a running joke of the season. He’s been called Dum-beiro multiple times, and he’s proving it. There are a few examples of his bad choices, but the latest might hurt his friend. Here’s what you need to know.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Big mistakes

Albeiro has been making some especially questionable choice this season. His first and worst, in our opinion, is the situation with Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes). He’d been approached earlier in the season with bad news. Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) had revealed that Diabla was infected with HIV. Because of her blackmail and brujeria plots, she and Albeiro slept together multiple times, which Calvo says means he probably has it, too. He suggested Albeiro take a test in the very hospital where he was keeping vigil over José Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar). The test was obviously influenced by Calvo, but Albeiro buys into it all hook, line, and sinker.

He immediately starts acting like he’s going to drop any second, but never tells anyone what he’s got. He then compounds this bad choice by refusing to listen to literally everyone around him. They think he should get a second opinion regarding whatever this mystery illness is. While he eventually comes clean that it’s HIV, he still never gets that other opinion. Instead, he immediately allows Diabla to use him as her personal errand boy/fighter to the miracle cure. You know, for the disease he may not even have.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Willful ignorance?

Over the season, Diabla has visited him multiple times in her “Valeria Montes” persona. While she admittedly is a great actress, and she does alter her voice, Albeiro seems to be purposefully ignoring the signs. One being the fact she never lets him see Diabla. He’s always got a weird mask on when Diabla isn’t playing her alter ego. That makes sense. She obviously isn’t going to want him to see her new face. But shouldn’t he be questioning this strange development? She didn’t do it when she held him captive before.

The voice thing has been making fans on Twitter crazy. Fans criticize him for not noticing something. It’s a valid concern. After all, when you lose one sense (in his case, sight), the others tend to get stronger. Shouldn’t he be noticing the similarity? They’ve also criticized something else we think is far more important.

Albeiro, as we mentioned, has already slept with Diabla more than once. He’s also spent a lot of time around her. When he ended up making out with “Valeria” in a recent episode, he probably should have noticed something was off. The girl got a new face, but she didn’t change her body.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: The latest

In the Friday, November 1st episode, he pulls what might be his worst move yet. Jota had been tiring of his captivity, and worries that he won’t last long if they keep pumping him full of XY5 and forcing him to fight to the death. In a plan that is obviously designed to help get him free, he manages to fake taking an XY5 pill, then doses his minder’s water with it.

The plan succeeds in that Kike (Cristian Rodriguez) drinks the dosed water. He’s clearly feeling the effects of XY5 when he’s called by Sasha Ferro (Isabela Amado). She wants to know where Albeiro’s dose is. While they talk, she notices something off and later wonders if Kike is on the drug. Albeiro actually tells her there’s no doubt about it. By revealing this, he’s ensured that Sasha will take action. Good for screwing over one of the people holding them, but really bad for Jota’s plan. We’ll have to see how that plays out tonight.
