El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that Sebastian Sanín Santana (Carlos Báez) is in a bad place. Played by a different, younger actor in a previous season, Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) decided to bring her son back in one of the dumbest moves ever. But he wasn’t the same Sebas. Is all that about to change? Here’s what you need to know.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Troubled kid

Sebas came back to Colombia with extra baggage—the emotional kind. He’s apparently been kept in the dark about everything that’s happened in Colombia. This has left him feeling abandoned, and second fiddle to his sister, Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque). He’s angry and has been drinking, at the very least. All this is unknown to Cata Grande, who thinks her son is the sweet, obedient, cheerful kid that she sent to live with family in Miami.

This anger and has manifested itself in bad ways. The very same day he arrives in Colombia, he and his tag-along friend, Alexander Moondejo (Pedro Calvo) meet a dealer and decide to try a very powerful drug. They end up having to flee a cop, then are discovered still under the effects of the drug by Sebas’ father, Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique). The fight that follows, and his attitude in the Wednesday, October 30th episode, is a bad sign. He’s disrespectful, a liar, and seems to think he’s smarter and more grown than he is. When he tries that act on Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) Wednesday, she takes just as hard a stance as Cata Grande did. She calls him out as a liar, then tells the story of his uncle, Bayron Santana (Juan Diego Sánchez). He was a hitman that was shot like a dog in the streets one day. Through all of this, Alex has been a voice of reason. He keeps telling Sebas he at least has parents to care about him, and repeatedly tries to calm him down. That’s where the ironic part comes in.

El Final del Paraiso spoilers: Ironic twist

While the son of a DEA agent and doctor is busy being argumentative, disrespectful, and a bit violent, his friend is a different story. It’s a strange twist, given what the characters learn Wednesday.

Alexander is shocked and devastated to hear the TV interview that says his father, Aáron “Mano Negra” Moondejo (Juan Pablo Gamboa) is a dangerous criminal pulling the country’s strings. He’s even more devastated that these revelations are coming from the mother he believed to be dead all these years. Alex wants answers, but it seems that although he was the product of a criminal, he’s handling himself in a better way than Sebas has. With the way Sebas was watching Alex’s reaction and comforting him, we think this might just help Sebas turn a corner before he goes to the lengths his sister did. We’ll see how that plays out over the rest of the season.
