El Final del Paraíso spoilers for Monday, October 28th indicate that Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) is in danger, Yésica “La Diabla” Beltràn (Kimberly Reyes) is walking into a trap, and Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) gets an unexpected call. Also, Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique) is reeling from his son’s behavior, while La Cuina (Jimena Galvis) and the rest are plotting their next move. If you missed it, let’s catch up with an El Final del Paraíso recap.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Trust no one

Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque) is massively paranoid. She doesn’t trust Ramón “Moncho” Monetcarlo’s (Mauricio Mauad) friend por nada. She tells him over and over that there are no friends in this business, and that she thinks they need to get out of here now. Besides that, she’s desperate to get back to Colombia and find her daughter. Moncho assures her that Lightening Rod (Carlos Marino) is a good friend and that he wouldn’t do anything to betray them.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Traitor

About that. Almost as if he was daring the Telenovela Gods, they say, “Challenge accepted.” His “friend” calls someone who he’s heard works for the invisible man, Aáron “Mano Negra” Mondejo (Juan Pablo Gamboa). He has two sheep that went astray, and he’s willing to hand them over—for a price. He gives the names and is promised the message will get passed along.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Save her

Meanwhile, Mariana has decided to eat a whole humble pie and call Cata Grande. You know, the woman she’s been wanting dead the whole time. She begs Cata Grande to go find her daughter, who she’d left in the care of a nanny. Mariana is afraid her time is running low, and she wants to know her daughter is in good hands. That and the fact she’s sure Mano Negra will kill the kid to hurt her. But she doesn’t exactly get into that part.

Playing the role of responsible mom at the worst possible time, Cata gives her a ton of grief about being an irresponsible mother and putting her child in danger. Hmm. You mean like dragging a kid back to a country crawling with enemies? Keeping him in the dark about everything, apparently? #PotMeetKettle She also gets in a lot of shots about how Mariana calls her “mom” now, after trying to kill her more than once. Again, Cata Grande… this might not be the time. Ultimately, she agrees to rescue Catalina Jaramillo Santana (Cata 3), and Mariana promises to send her the location.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Sebas fuera de control

Speaking of Sebastian Sanín Santana (Carlos Báez) earlier, Santiago arrives at the house to find him and Alexander Mondejo (Pedro Calvo) clearly under the influence. He is furious and gives Sebastian an earful, but Sebas isn’t having it. He actually pushes Santiago and yells at him for how he and Cata Grande abandoned him in Miami, and how it was always about Mariana. Santiago is stunned and doesn’t know how to react.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Partial Fail

As for that mission Cata Grande is on, she apparently didn’t make it home the night before. She also didn’t give a call early enough to let Sebas know what she was doing. What was that about responsible parenting? Instead, she, Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez), and Lizeth Muriel (Margarita Torres) go to the site Mariana sent to rescue Cata 3. They’re also rescuing little Adrianita, who Mariana had told Cata Grande was there as well. Cata was beyond ashamed of having to admit that Vanessa’s daughter was taken by her daughter. Unfortunately for Cata Grande, the mission is only partly a success. They find Adrianita, but no Cata 3. The nanny was still there as well, and was taken into custody. Cata is beyond distraught at not finding her granddaughter.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Parental powwow

After that disappointing mission, Cata Grande suffers another blow. Santiago had been discussing the situation with his fellow escapees, and they make it clear he has no choice but to call Cata Grande and tell her what happened. He can’t keep an eye on Sebas in his current situation.

Cata Grande doesn’t take the news well. She goes into a pity me thing, and laments the irony of both of their children being involved in drugs. Santiago tells her to focus and deal, because they need to keep Sebas from going as far as Mariana has. She is a bit snippy with him, but agrees they need to do something. She was already planning to meet Sebas for lunch, so we’re guessing she is going to confront him there.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Titi wins

Going back to the Cata 3 situation… Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) was the one who grabbed the girl. He wanted his daughter by his side as they fight their war against Mano Negra and the rest. La Cuina  doesn’t look impressed by the extra guest at Armando “Cardonita” Cardona’s (Julián Trujillo) place, but all she says is that she hopes the kid won’t bring them trouble.

She is similarly iffy on Titi wanting to back Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta) for President. He’s the one going on about war against narcos and all. Pilar (Margarita Reyes) had assured her that he will get rid of their competition, leaving them to operate in the shadows.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Eavesdropping

Speaking of Mano Negra, he now has a direct line to Sebas, thanks to Santos Castellanos’ (Luis Carlos Fuquen) hacker. He is able to listen in as Sebas speaks with Cata Grande about that lunch date. Through the call, he learns not only is Cata Grande his mother, they’re going to be meeting somewhere soon. Plus, he knows that Mariana has been in contact with Cata Grande about saving Cata 3, and that Vanessa’s daughter was rescued. He is ready to get to Colombia and kill Cata Grande and Sebas, then reclaim his son.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Set the trap(s)

As for Diabla, she is planning her reunion with Berrio. She wants Barbas (Álvaro Córdoba) ready with a fun when she meets with Berrio, just in case of trouble. She’s ready to be First Lady of Colombia and control things from the shadows, leaving Diabla essentially dead.

What she doesn’t know is Berrio and Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa) are still onto her. As they so-called couple meets, he sees Zoraya Fuentes (Eileen Roca) in her place. We’re not sure exactly what Berrio has planned, but it’s obvious he and Lucrecia are preparing something.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Calvo lives

Another thing Diabla planned was getting rid of Calvo. She wanted Barbas to go to the hospital and finish the job. He agrees, and arrives a little later to take out her problematic employee. Unfortunately for him, Calvo is surprisingly capable for a guy with one good arm who is recovering from Diabla’s initial attack and some new wounds from Barbas. He manages to overpower and kill Barbas, but he passes out on the ground right after.

A nurse arrives and finds the scene, then screams for help. We can’t with the doctor and guard standing calmly on the other side of the door as she is checking for a pulse on Calvo. It isn’t until she says he’s alive that the doctor rushes in to attend to him. This hospital could give the one at Days of Our Lives some competition for “most dangerous place”.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Joana está muerta

    https://www.instagram.com/p/B4NW_UgAFZ7/

In bad news, Joana is still alive. She’s also completely different. She’s dyed her hair and made some other small changes to completely transform her look to keep undercover now that she’s a fugitive. She says that Joana has died tonight, and so with Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) and Salvatore Miranda (Martín Karpan). She goes on about how great a job she’s done on her new look and goes on about being a snake, and the most dangerous. Right. Please, writers, stop trying to make her sound like the baddest baddie that ever existed.

El Final del Paraiso spoilers: Jota grows a pair

Finally, José Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar) has had enough. He takes the picture of his latest competition and rips it up, then throws at the minion who showed it to him. He demands to talk to Vanessa and his daughter right now. If not, he won’t be fighting. The minion’s impressed with Jota’s new badder self. And we’re suddenly feeling a bit bad for laughing at the idea of how he played Bayron Santana in the 2010 movie. He actually can pull off a harder persona. Bravo to him.
