Armie Hammer’s life continues to spiral out of control after another woman, by the name of Effie Angelova, started legal proceedings after claiming that the Hollywood actor had raped her.
Effie Angelova Has Started Legal Proceedings After Accusing Armie Hammer Of Rape
Now, this could be a case of someone looking to make some money. After all, it would not be so hard, given Armie’s long list of recent controversies. And yet, things are not looking good if Effie’s legal team are anything to go by. They have stressed that Effie has sufficient evidence to prove her case and that she is ready to act on it.
Gloria Allred, who happens to be Effie’s lawyer, recently said: “[Effie] does have evidence which she believes supports her serious allegations. We do think that is important that an investigation of these serious allegations is conducted.” Effie claimed that Armie was a master of persuasion.
In an interview, Effie spoke on how vindictive Armie was. She said: “Looking back, it is now clear to me he was employing manipulation tactics in order to exert control over me until I started to lose myself. [He] would often test my devotion to him, crossing my boundaries as he became increasingly more violent and used me mentally, emotionally, sexually.”
But things seemed to have spiralled out of control, during one of their times together. Effie claimed that she had tried to escape from Armie, but when she realised that this was not possible, she was taken advantage of and raped. She added: “Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours. [Armie] committed other acts of violence against me, to which I did not consent. During those four hours, I tried to get away.
“I found that he was going to kill me. He then left with no concern for my well-being.” Armie has already taken a hit with his career being impacted. Most recently, he had to withdraw from one of his films, Shotgun Wedding, to address his Instagram scandal in which he was accused of sending DM’s to women about cannibalism. But this time, it could be a lot worse, with even jail time on the cards.
