EastEnders spoilers finds that it has been a challenging couple of weeks for Sharon Mitchell in the show. She has needed to come to terms with the loss of her son, who was killed during the recent boat party to celebrate the 35th anniversary. But, out of grief, she could be about to make her situation even harder.
Sharon hasn’t even heard her son’s last voicemail, which was uncovered by Dotty. Once she hears that, she may begin to question Ian Beale’s role in her son’s death. Of course, Ian didn’t mean to harm Dennis, and instead just wanted to teach him a lesson. But, the evidence is building against him.

It could be argued that the situation that caused Dennis’s death could also be down to the actions of Sharon, as Phil wouldn’t have caused the boat to crash by having a fight with Keanu if Sharon wouldn’t have slept with her toyboy. Their altercation on the boat was ultimately the reason why it began to sink. Sharon is in a difficult position at present as she will be trying to bring up her newborn baby, while also grieving the loss of her other son. This will lead to Sharon making a big mistake over the coming weeks as she looks for comfort in the arms of another man in Walford.

There have been a lot of rumours surrounding who the mystery man could be, with Phil one of the most popular picks on social media. Mick Carter could also be another potential male involved with Sharon, as he looks to support her. She could mistake that support for something deeper. Ian has been in love with Sharon for years, and he will be supporting Sharon throughout this ordeal, which could potentially be down to his guilt. The two sleeping together would complicate things, especially due to the fact that Ian’s secret will come out eventually. It would be a natural progression of the storyline, but fans will have to wait and see whether Ian is the mystery man.
