BBC ‘EastEnders’ spoilers fans are gearing themselves up for the return of Phil Mitchell. The mainstay in the BBC soap is set to return to Walford next week, and that will mark his first appearance in the soap since the death of Dennis Rickman. There will be more than a few questions that Phil will be faced with on his return, and almost all of them will be coming from Sharon.
Sharon still holds Phil responsible for Dennis’ death, and the two will clash at the teenager’s funeral next week. However, Phil won’t stop there as he will seek face-to-face talks with the grieving mother later on in the day, but could this lead to a stunning rekindling of their relationship?

Phil will be shocked by the response of Sharon, and will be demand talks between the pair so that they can iron out their differences. He will be keen to share his side of the story, which could also include incriminating Keanu Taylor. After a fiery discussion between the pair at Ian Beale’s house, they meet again later in the pub.
Their meeting this time around is less fiery, as Sharon admits that he is grieving and missing her son. Phil will open up about how sorry he is for her loss, and how he always imagined Dennis as his own. The nice moment between the pair could lead to the two spending the night together, but will there be regret in the morning?

Phil and Sharon always gravitate towards each other, but Sharon will wake up in the morning full of regret. She still doesn’t know who is responsible for her son’s death, and she will leave before Phil wakes up. Phil still isn’t in the clear, however, as the police turn up later in the episode looking to speak to him.
There have been spoilers released that Phil may eventually learn that Ian was responsible for Dennis’ death. Should that be the case, then there are set to be explosive scenes in EastEnders for the remainder of the year. Viewers will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
