BBC ‘EastEnders’ spoilers finds that we will be aware of the troubles that Linda Carter have been through over the past year. She has endured a continued battle against alcohol, but to firmly put her demons in the rearview mirror, Mick came up with a plan to remove the temptation.

Last week, viewers watched on as Mick revealed to Linda that he plans to sell the Queen Vic, as he thinks that is the only way that they will be able to move on as a couple. Next week, fans will see the moment that Mick finally approaches potential buyers about purchasing the iconic soap institution.

BBC ‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: A Clean Break Is Best For Linda

Mick is selling the pub as he believes that it is the only way for Linda to defeat her demons. She came to the realisations a few weeks ago that she finally needs to stop drinking in order to protect her family. Linda made the decision after nearly dying during the 35th anniversary specials.

She was fortunate to have escaped the dramatic episode still alive, as Mick was forced to save her life as she was too intoxicated to swim herself to safety. As soon as she got back onto land, she admitted to Mick that she needs to give up drinking once and for all.

BBC ‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Linda’s Relapse Forces Mick’s Hand

Everybody will know that going cold turkey never works out as planned on soaps, and Linda was an example of that this week. She suffered a relapse as she started drinking again. However, she was honest about having a drink with Mick, and that’s when he decided that he needed to make a big decision.

Mick’s decision will send shockwaves around Walford, as residents will begin questioning who could potentially take over the burden of running the famous pub. Fans may be given a sneak peek at who they can expect to see behind the bar at the Queen Vic next week, but will it be a familiar face?
