It has been an up and down couple of weeks in EastEnders, but it felt as though we had finally got to the end of the story as Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) gave birth to her daughter Peggy. However, she was rocked when it was revealed that Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) had been having an affair.
Worse yet, it was revealed that he had been having an affair with another Mitchell, and she was also pregnant with his baby. Sharon (Letitia Dean) was the other Mitchell to be carrying his baby, which led to action from her husband.
EastEnders Spoilers: Is Keanu Really Dead?
The Christmas day episode revolved around the revenge plot from Phil, and while Martin Fowler (James Bye) was tasked with doing to dirty work, there are still some that believe he isn’t really dead. Martin didn’t want to kill Keanu, and viewers never saw the body. Instead, they just heard a gunshot.
Louise had a massive part to play in the big plan put together by Phil. Once she found out about the other baby, she stated that the new parents should run away together. Keanu was anxious to get away from the square and quickly agreed. However, her plan was really to get Keanu into position so that he could be drugged and then taken away. Keanu was oblivious to the plan, but whether he is dead remains to be seen.
EastEnders Spoilers: Shocking Return On The Cards?
Fans have been suspicious if that was really the end for Keanu. They were speculating that he could still be alive, and that there could be another plan put in motion to get revenge on the Mitchells. Louise is due to exit the show in the new year, and fans have questioned with Keanu’s return could play a part.
Martin could have shot another protagonist and not Keanu in the closing scenes of the Christmas episode. And, that could lead to a shocking Keanu return. However, whether he will come back to kill the mother of his child is up for debate.
The scenes surrounding Louise’s departure are due to air early in the new year, so fans may not have to wait for that long to see what happens.
