BBC ‘EastEnders’ spoilers have revealed that Ben Mitchell will be at the centre of a fresh health scare over the coming episodes. Viewers will remember that Ben has endured a difficult time of late, and has been left permanently deaf after the dodgy plan including Phil Mitchell went terribly wrong a couple of weeks ago.
However, Ben hoped that the upcoming operation that he has planned will manage to sort out his hearing and repair it for good. That may no longer be the case now after being fully deaf. Phil was against his son getting involved in the job as he knew that there was a chance that it could go wrong, and those fears were aligned when Ben was seen riding in pain.

Ben was left deaf at the beginning of the year as he was caught up in the feud between Phil and Keanu Taylor. Both men walked away unharmed, but the same couldn’t be said of Ben. His health has been having a negative effect on his mental health for months, and those closest to him will become worried next week.
Ben’s problems will continue to mount as he shockingly collapses while talking to Jay Brown. Jay will be left stunned when he collapses and will be worried about what it means for his friends. Viewers will be aware that Ben is going through something potentially serious, as he has a high temperature at the beginning of the week.

Viewers have no idea at present what could actually be wrong with Ben, but the signs are certainly not good. Callum Highway will give his boyfriend some very strong medication at the beginning of next week to help him overcome the pain that he is feeling, but it’s clear that the medication does nothing to help him.
Ben is scared that should he tell anyone about the fever then his operation would be delayed again, and that would leave him deaf for an extended period of time. Jay will be worried about Ben when he arrives to check in on him, and Ben may have no other choice but to come clean to everyone when he comes around again after passing out.
