The relationship between Callum Highway and Ben Mitchell has been one of the bright spots over recent months in EastEnders, but their relationship could be in jeopardy next week as Callum makes a massive mistake. The two have only recently been reunited as Callum was wrapped up in the Mitchell’s war against Keanu Taylor.
Keanu kidnapped Callum in dramatic scenes, and after the boat party, Ben was faced with the prospect of finding his boyfriend. He needed to act quickly as Callum was hours away from death after being left starving and frozen. Thankfully enough, Ben managed to save Callum just in time.

Quickly after the two were reunited, Ben needed to inform Callum about a health problem that had been picked up following the eventful boat party. Ben was stood too close when Phil shot a gun, which left him permanently deaf. Since revealing his news to Callum, he has been supportive of his boyfriend.
However, problems will materialise between the couple next week when Callum is helping with Ben’s business. He will make a huge mistake when helping and Ben will deliver harsh words. Also next week, Callum will encourage Ben to begin learning sign language so that he can communicate more efficiently.

Callum is shocked when his good idea is knocked back by Ben, and there is another shock in store later in the week when a familiar face arrives in Walford with an interesting proposition for Ben, which could enable him to get revenge on his father.
Things take a further twist towards the end of the week, when Ben storms off from Callum after an altercation. Ben makes a terrible decision while at the Prince Albert to steal somebodies car, which leads to him being arrested. Callum is shocked when he hears the news, but could this lead to the end of their relationship?
