Chrishell Stause has decided to focus on herself and stay away from the dating scene amid her recent split from Keo Motsepe, coupled with her divorce from Justin Hartley.
‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers: Chrishell Stause Is Taking A Break From Dating
A source told Us Weekly that Chrishell is choosing to focus on her career for the time being: “She’s looking forward to returning to TV and focusing on her upcoming projects. She finds her work to be a healthy distraction. She went through so much heartbreak this past year that she really is taking a break from dating.
“She’s someone who does love being in a relationship, but now she’s completely going to take time for herself and focus on what’s to come. [She is] surrounding herself with friends and people who bring positive energy into her life.” And who could blame Chrishell? She had just gotten over Justin and hoped to start a new chapter in her life with Keo.
But destiny had other plans as it seemed that he was dishonest with Chrishell. There were numerous lies that no longer made the relationship tenable. At the time of the split, a previous source said: Keo was caught in a web of lies. He’s not denying the fact that he lied to her and is truly ashamed about something he did. He genuinely loved her but made a big mistake. I don’t see them getting back together.”
Added to that, Chrishell felt that Keo had been using his mother’s death as a manipulation tactic to detract away from his deceitful behaviour. She said at the time: “Was I messy? Yes. But I appreciate this truthful, non-manipulative change of tone. I appreciate all of your supportive messages btw) Let my mess be a lesson to CALL OUT BULL [S–T]. Ok, dropping this. Back to peace, love and rainbows. This was the peace my bitter ass needed.”
It is good to see Chrishell taking a break from having a relationship. Both her recent efforts have ended badly, and it seems the appropriate thing to do so. After all, she may benefit from having some time out and eventually find her special someone.
