Unlike her loud, proud, glitz and glamour-filled life, Ivana Trump’s burial will be private and will be held in New Jersey, on the Trump’s Bedminster golf club property. As it turns out, in 2017, Donald Trump was approved to build a family cemetery there and that is where Ivana will be interred.
You would think that Ivana’s funeral would practically roll out the red carpet for all the friends and acquaintances that she had acquired over the years but it seems that the Trumps are taking a quiet, dignified approach to Ivana’s death. Then again, she was a wife and Mother, so maybe they feel that this is the only respectable way of going about things.
Ivana Trump to have private burial in New Jersey
One of her many socialite friends said, “I’m taking the red-eye tonight. The family just said ‘Get here as fast as you can, you can stay with us… We’ll fill you in when you get here.” considering just how much intrigue is swirling around Ivana’s death, that was determined to be due to blunt force injury to her torso by the coroner in an autopsy that happened super quickly, we’re not sure if that’s information that should have been let out.
Then again, when people are grieving, people say things, they let things slip that they wouldn’t normally. Which is why it’s interesting that former president Donald J. Trump is going to speak at Ivana’s funeral.
Granted, it’s going to be a private ceremony so chances are there will be no cameras about, but it would be interesting if this were being televised, just what the former President would say about the, as she so often dubbed herself, “The first first lady”. In spite of being divorced since 1992, she and Donald’s relationship has remained close.
So close in fact that friends of the family said that Ivana could get through to him when no one else could. “It is a devastating loss to him, and to us.” said a friend of the family. So far he has said nothing but good things about her, in fact he told Cindy Adams of the New York Post: “She was beautiful, she was very special. She was outstanding. Beautiful inside and out. We began all of it, our lives together, with such a great relationship.
She was different. She never gave up. Beautiful, yes, but she was also a hard worker. No matter how rough things were or how badly they looked she never fell down. She went from communism to our lives together. She took nothing for granted.”
