Donald Trump has blasted his fellow politicians that refuse to confirm whether they have had the Covid-19 vaccine.

The former President of the United States is an ardent supporter of the vaccination programme by virtue of the fact that he has publicly admitted that he has taken the booster jab. Although he was not shy admitting that, the very fact of the matter is that he was booed in response.
This may actually explain why politicians are hesitant over expanding upon their vaccination status for fear that they may alienate the electorate and thus compromise their own position.
In an interview with ‘One America News‘, Donald said: “I watched a couple of politicians be interviewed…The questions was, ‘Did you get the booster?”
“And they’re answering like, in other words, the answer is ‘yes’ but they don’t want to say it because they’re gutless.”
Nevertheless, it is important to remember the following factors. First of all, medical information is a matter of privacy and therefore totally within a person’s rights to keep it confidential.
Therefore, by deciding to disclose it, this may inadvertently influence people to take the vaccine without thinking whether it is best for them.
Secondly, given that politicians are not medical professionals, it is probably wise for them to keep quiet on such matters. And yet, for Donald, he felt that it was much more than that.
He doubled down on his beliefs and backed the vaccination programme all the way. He added: “You gotta say it, whether you had it or not. Say it.
“But the fact is that I think the vaccines saved tens of millions throughout the world. I’ve had absolutely no side-effects.” Donald’s comments come in light of reports that he may consider making a run for the Presidency once again in 2024.
And if the pandemic fails to get resolved by that time, then the calls for him to be an alternative to United States President Joe Biden may continue to increase.
