Disney is really not playing with its recent remakes of live-actions. Just after the Dumbo and Aladdin, our screens were blessed with live-action version of the much loved ” The Lion King” as well as “Lady and The Tramp” which were released in the second half of 2019. Disney is not stopping at that. No! Iconic 1988 adventure, Mulan is also getting a live-action remake and we can’t wait to see it!

One of our Childhood’s favorite Animation story, Mulan is the next Disney’s animated to get a live-action remake. From what we see in the trailer released by Disney, this one will be a blockbuster. Mulan is Directed by Niki Caro and the plot won’t changed. It is the same story as the 1998 animation.
Mulan: The Legend’s Story
The story of Mulan is about the Chinese Legend of Hua Mulan. A girl impersonates a man so that she could fight with the Chinese army and stop a Hun Invasion.
Mulan: Release Date
Mulan was slated to be released in December, 2019, but due to a delay, the date has been shifted. Don’t be sad! Mulan will be released very soon. Mulan will hit US and UK cinemas on March 27, 2020. Yaay! Disney released the movie trailer to announce that it will be coming to our screens very soon. In the trailer, we watch Chinese actress, Liu Yifei as she transforms into Mulan. Mulan replaces her ailing dad as the only member of their family to serve in the Chinese military.
Just as it is in the animated version, the movie flashes between fight scenes and Mulan’s moment of self discovery. In the end, she says “I will bring honor to us all,” Liu(Mulan) is a very poplar Chinese actress. She has starred in hit TV dramas. She has also taken up English-speaking roles including Outcast (2004) which she acted with Nicolas Cage and The Forbidden Kingdom (2008).
Who else Will Wee See In Mulan?
In this remake, we will see a lot of new characters including Gong Li as the evil witch Xianniang and Donnie Yen as Mulan’s mentor Commander Tung. Jason Scott Lee will also star in the movie, taking up the role of the enemy warrior leader, who is known as Böri Khan, and the Famous Jet Li will also appear, taking up the role of the Emperor of China. We will also see Tzi Ma play the role of Mulan’s father, as well as Yoson An, who will take up the role of Vhen Hinghui, Mulan’s rival who later becomes her love interest. We absolutely can’t wait to see Mulan and talk about it! We can’t wait for 2020!!!
