On Friday, 13th January 2023, Kevin Spacey entered a plea of not guilty to seven additional sex offence charges in the United Kingdom, bringing the total number of sex charges he faces in the country to twelve.
Kevin Spacey Pleads Not Guilty To A Further 7 Sex Offense Charges
Spacey has denied allegations that he sexually assaulted three men between the years 2004 to 2015. The trial is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 6th June 2023. Just prior, though, Spacey was found not guilty last October in a sexual misconduct lawsuit that had been filed.
Jennifer Keller, who happens to be Spacey’s lawyer, was grateful that the actor had the opportunity to clear his name. She said: “Mr. Spacey is grateful to live in a country where the citizens have a right to trial by impartial jurors who make their decision based on evidence and not rumour or social media.
“He is deeply thankful to this particular jury.”
In addition to his, Spacey had also been accused of battery and assault when it came to Anthony Rapp in 1986. The latter just so happened to be 14 at the time of the allegations.
Moreover, in August, the courts ordered Spacey to pay a massive $31 million to the producers of his show, ‘House of Cards.’ This was on the grounds that he had allegedly been engaging in sexual misconduct on the show.
The fans on social media had a lot to say about Spacey. Large numbers of people slammed the actor on the basis that there were an increasing number of allegations being made against him that were becoming harder to fight off.
One person wrote: “Sounds like people are starting to figure out he’s a pervert probably like most of them Hollyweird freaks.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities investigate the matter and come to a conclusion.
